The Brilliant Uruguayan Baller Jayson Granger Joins Lympo to Launch His NFT Collection

Introducing the newest addition to the Lympo Athlete roster - Jayson Granger. Jayson is a professional basketball player from Uruguay, currently playing for Reyer Venezia in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroCup. A BBL champion and MVP, as well as Turkish Presidential Cup winner and FIBA silver medalist - Jayson Granger will have his achievements immortalized with his own collection of unique Lympo memorabilia.


Jayson started his basketball career in the youth ranks of the Uruguayan club Club Atlético Cordón. However, at only 16 years old, Granger had a trial with the Spanish team Estudiantes after which he was signed onto the team in 2006. Thus, launching his professional career.

Later on, in the summer of 2007, Granger participated in the Americas Basketball Without Borders camp, where he was selected as the camp MVP. That same season, Granger made his Spanish 1st-tier level Liga ACB professional debut.

Granger played in the 2013 NBA Summer League with the Boston Celtics' summer league squad and the 2014 NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Also, in 2013, he signed with the Spanish club Unicaja.

During the 2014-2015 season, Jayson Granger was selected as one of the league's two best guards and included in the  All-Spanish ACB League Team. He also was one of the key players in the Spanish ACB League playoff semifinals.

After playing for the Turkish team Anadolu Efes, Baskonia, and Alba Berlin, Jayson Granger is currently playing for the Reyer Venezia in LBA Serie A.

Apart from his domination of European leagues, Jayson has also been an important member of the Uruguayan national team. He first represented the country in the 2005 FIBA South America Under-17 Championship, where he led the team and the whole tournament in scoring, rebounding, and assists. Jayson represented the senior Uruguayan national team in 2012 at the South American Championship and helped the team finish 3rd.

Jason is known as a player with a combination of American physical style and a South American understanding of the game that comes from his father - a former American player. Jayson Granger is described as a very strong and skilled player with high-court intelligence who knows how to use his body against defenders.
